I’ve always been fascinated by the stars and night sky. I became interested in Astrophotography after coming across the work of Ben Canales. His images are awe-inspiring.
I wish that I had the time, the talent, the scenery and the dark skies needed to get some shots as good as these!

Girlguiding International Adventures
I think that one of the best things about Girlguiding is the opportunity for international travel.
I’ve been lucky enough to:
> Attend International Jamborees in Iceland and Austria
> Visit the work of charities WaterAid and Plan in Ghana
> Stay at Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland
> Undertake project work in Morocco
In the summer of 2012 I’m taking 15 Seniors to the Denmark National Jamboree – over 30,000 Scouts and Guides are expected to take part from all over the world.
I CAN’T wait.
So many opportunities.
So many adventures.
So many new experiences.
Girlguiding is pretty awesome.
